A musical instrument retailer in Stuttgart offers a wide selection of high-quality products – from guitars to pianos – in a 600 m² showroom. As part of a partnership with Yamaha, he became aware of Zinia, Santander's financing solution. Seamless checkout: Customers use Zinia for larger purchases
Today, Zinia is seamlessly integrated into the checkout process – both online and in-store. This gives customers the flexibility to finance their purchases. Even though the retailer emphasises that financing does not yet account for a large proportion of purchases, there is a clear effect on the size of the shopping basket: ‘The average shopping basket is around £200, but financing also makes purchases between £3,000 and £4,000 possible.’ In addition, targeted advertising helps to make the topic of financing more visible and further promotes its use.
